Paris: Bennelong

This Australian restaurant in Paris featured Cuisine 'Australienne' (the quotes are theirs).

Some items from the menu included:
Smoked Emu Salad
BBQ Fillet of Kangaroo, Candied Yams, Wok Fried Spinach and Tasmanian Pepperberry Jus
and that Australian classic, Pan-fried Calf Liver.

Prague: Bumerang

We got lost in the rain on our way somewhere else, but it was worth it to find the Australian (Australska) restaurant: Bumerang, on Londýnska.

I'm not sure what was meant to be particularly Australian about it, the menus was all pork, cabbage and dumplings.

Some items from the menu:
Two of the mains:
1. Pork, smoked meat, grilled sausages, cabbage, spinach, potato dumpings, dumplings 2. Beef roast, rice (Whatever happened to the lamb roast?)
The soups: garlic soup, leek soup.
Dessert: apple strudel, pancakes with jam and glaze.

According to my phrase-book Czech, 'Bumerang' would be pronounced much like 'boomerang' to a native Czech speaker. It's just unfortunate that 'bum' is pronounced 'arse' in Australian English.

Tesco's in Prague also featured 'Mystery Australia' deodorant/aftershave.
